Martes no tenemos escuela porque aquí fue día de fiesta. Por eso, tuve mucho tiempo y decidí caminar a la estatua de Jesús Cristo qué es situado muy alto en una colina. Allá la vista de ciudad fue muy increíble. …tuve un tiempo muy divertido.

Experiencia Primera de España

Mi experiencia primera de España fue muy divertida. Hace un día de que todos los estudiantes llegaron a Oviedo, yo visite una cuidad pequeña de nombre León que está cerca de Oviedo. Yo llegué allá el sábado, y lo salé el domingo. Me gustó León mucho. Pienso que todas iglesias y los fuentes son muy bonitas. Y todos edificios fueron my diferentes y muy agradables.

La tarde de viernes, yo estuve muy cansado porque esta día viajé mucho de Salt Lake City a León. Cuando fui a caminar y explorar la ciudad, me senté al lado de la Catedral y sin querer me dormí. En más o menos vente minutos, cuando me desperté, yo supe que fue tiempo ir al hotel e ir a mi cama.

El próximo día, cuando me desperté, tuve un desayuno fuera al lado de una fuente y me sentí muy feliz y descansado. Después de mi desayuno, para tres horas exploré león un poco más, y después, fui a la estación de autobuses y salí a la Oviedo.

Entrada Primera

Well...It's already Sunday night. I leave for Madrid early on Friday morning. Wow. That came up fast! I am already starting to feel that tingly body feeling from the excitement to travel and explore Spain. My plan for the next couple of months is as follows...
I will leave Salt Lake City on Friday, May 22nd. I will land in Madrid and get on the bus to a small city of Leon. There I will spend only a day, and the following afternoon I will get on a bus to Oviedo. I will live and study in Oviedo for five weeks. Do I feel worried? No. Well, perhaps a little about my Spanish speaking ability. I moved to United States when I was eleven, so I'm sure it's going to be a little like reliving my old experience of learning how to express myself with people who have no clue what I am trying to say. However, that is just fine, because while it will kick my butt and help me learn Spanish, I will be having tons of FUN!!!
A few days ago, a lady who I will be staying with sent me an e-mail. She wanted to let me know that they are waiting for me to come and that she hopes that their home is going to feel warm and welcome to me. It already starts feeling that way... :)
